GREEN VALLEYS
Introducing the Green Valleys Project
Welcome to the future of sustainable agriculture and green energy. The Green Valleys Project is an ambitious initiative designed to radically change the way we perceive agricultural production and energy sustainability. With pilot projects in Vafeiochori in the Municipality of Kilkis, and Louros in the Municipality of Preveza, locations of strategic importance due to their proximity to vital infrastructure. We are creating a model of modern hydroponic farming combined with advanced energy technologies and innovative circular economy practices.

At the core of our approach is the creation of a unique circular economy system, where every natural resource is reused, minimizing waste and significantly reducing the environmental footprint of our production. Organic waste is converted into biogas, the water resulting from this process is reused for hydroponic cultivation and hydrogen production, and the heat released from cogeneration is directly utilized for heating the crops.
The Green Valleys Project addresses two of the most critical challenges of the 21st century: the need for sustainable food production and the fight against climate change. By utilizing dual fuel engines, the project simultaneously generates heat and electricity, harnessing fuels such as natural gas, biomethane, e-methane, and green hydrogen. This process ensures the energy self-sufficiency of our greenhouses, while simultaneously supporting the local energy grid by supplying excess electricity to the public.

The Green Valleys Project aspires to become a benchmark for agricultural development in Greece and Europe, offering a practical example of sustainability, technological innovation, and ecological responsibility. We are committed to steering agricultural production toward a greener, cleaner future by providing practical solutions to the challenges of the climate crisis and the energy transition.
